Inflammation & Endometriosis

Endometriosis and adenomyosis are inflammatory conditions. This simply means that inflammation in the body stays switched on for too long.

Inflammation itself isn't bad. It's your body's natural healing process.

The problem comes when inflammation becomes constant. Chronic inflammation fuels pain, lesion growth, and general fatigue.

You can't remove inflammation completely, but you can reduce it:

  • Eat anti-inflammatory foods: colourful vegetables, fatty fish, turmeric, ginger

  • Limit inflammatory foods: highly processed foods, excess sugar, trans fats

  • Manage stress through gentle movement, breathwork, and rest

  • Prioritise sleep and relaxation

Lowing inflammation can help ease pain and create a better environment for your hormones.
